Data Deletion

At Kolay DM, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your data from our platform and what data will be removed.
 
 
How to Request Data Deletion
 
You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:
 
Method 1: Through Your Dashboard
Log in to your Kolay DM account, go to Settings, and click "Delete My Account and Data". This will initiate an immediate deletion of all your data.
 
Method 2: Via Email
Send a data deletion request to privacy@kolaydm.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your Kolay DM account. We will process your request within 5 business days.
 
Method 3: Through Facebook/Instagram Settings
You can also remove Kolay DM's access through your Facebook or Instagram account settings. Go to Settings > Security > Apps and Websites, find "Kolay DM", and click "Remove". This will revoke our access to your account data. We will then automatically delete your stored data within 30 days.
 
 
What Data Will Be Deleted
 
Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will permanently delete the following data:
 
- Your Kolay DM account and login credentials.
- Connected Instagram Business account data (username, profile information, account ID).
- Connected WhatsApp Business account data (phone number, business profile).
- All stored Instagram Direct Messages and conversation history.
- All stored Instagram comment data and automation rules.
- All stored WhatsApp messages and conversation history.
- CRM data including contacts, tags, notes, and lead scores.
- OAuth access tokens and authentication data.
- Knowledge base content and automation configurations.
 
 
Data Deletion Timeline
 
Dashboard deletion: Data is deleted immediately upon confirmation.
Email request: Data is deleted within 5 business days of receiving the request.
Facebook/Instagram removal: Data is deleted within 30 days of access revocation.
 
You will receive an email confirmation once your data has been successfully deleted. A unique confirmation code will be provided for your records.
 
 
Data We May Retain
 
In certain cases, we may retain minimal data as required by law or legitimate business purposes:
 
Legal obligations: Data required for tax, legal, or regulatory compliance may be retained for the period required by applicable law.
 
Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained for service improvement.
 
Important: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please make sure you have exported any data you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
