What It Does

The WhatsApp connection brings messages sent to your WhatsApp Business number into the Kolay DM panel. The bot answers them with the same persona and knowledge base as on Instagram.

Setup

1. Open Settings › Accounts in the panel and click Connect WhatsApp Business under WhatsApp Accounts.
2. In the Meta window that opens, select your business or create a new one.
3. Add the phone number you want to use and verify it with the code you receive.
4. Close the last screen with Finish. The panel confirms that your WhatsApp account is connected.

Your connected number appears in the list with its phone, quality, message limit and status.

How It Works

When a customer writes on WhatsApp, the message lands in the Inbox and the bot replies. After connecting, conversations from the last 6 months are imported into the panel automatically.

Limits and Things to Know

• 24-hour rule: free-form messages can't be sent more than 24 hours after the customer's last message. After that, only message templates approved by Meta can be sent.
• Meta only allows past conversations to be imported within the first 24 hours after connecting.
• If your plan doesn't cover this integration, the panel shows a warning that your plan does not allow it.
• Disconnecting permanently deletes that number's conversations from the panel.
